Influences of Mambo Fusion Workshop

August 13th: 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Saturday, August 13th
1:00 - 3:00 pm
In-person & Online!

What we will work on

In this 2-hour specialty class we’ll explore the rhythms of Afro Cuban, Pachanga, Son Montuno and discover how I take the essence of these rhythms and blend it with Mambo basics.

We’ll work our way from footwork into upper body movement and finally emotional expression in your dance.

By using the mambo basics as the foundation and getting creative with the above mentioned rhythms you can take advantage of this fusion and incorporate it into your social dancing!

In the end we tie it all together with a sequence of movements to practice on your own!

All are welcome, but I highly recommend you to have taken at least 3 consistent months of basic salsa/ mambo classes and understand the basic On2 dance style.
